Runnin' Blue in Studio
Wow, been a year since updates. Been to Disneyland once, Utah twice, Worked a concert in a sandstorm out past Palm Springs.
Just getting started on the busy time for my friend's bands. www.mustangsrock.com The Legendary Mustangs headline next Friday, September 19, 2008 at the ROUTE 66 Rendezvous in San Bernardino. (Court St.stage)
The Runnin' Blue band did a studio demo for Carlsbad Jazz in the Park judges. Here is one clip with audio from the camera. You can hear the finished set of one minute clips in the audio link on my profile. (I think they are still up there)
Regards to all. Still thinking about "In the Attic" perhaps we will have something from Rachel and Pete in the next couple of months.

So I've been jonesing for In the Attic and come up with the crazy idea that we ITA bloggers who are musicians or 'friends of the local band' should put on our own outtakes, rehearsals, jam sessions and etc on Youtube (or IACmusic).
I was going to call it "In the Warehouse", or "In the Livingroom" but that was too much a rip off of a bad movie title, so I chose "Jam Club" with the tag line:
Bare knuckles music, no chords barred, no spectators - sing, play or get out of the way.
IAC Music sub-genre:Jam Club
YouTube clips
Typical jam session humor

My grandson, Evan came to visit. He and my son, Corey, went to Disneyland last week and got this photoshopped Star Wars poster as Anakin and Obi wan. Real good looking boys!

Some of my old friends jamming. The drummer would not usually sing lead but is doing scratch vocals.

Note to self: add photos in reverse chronological order
That took about 45 seconds

Attic Jam at Joes Pub. Sorry few pictures of Rachel, my view of the piano was mostly blocked by a post. Great show - the music still plays in my head. I didn't get my picture taken with Rachel or Pete, I had already bugged them for autographs. Very glad to have met them and had a nice chat with Foy as well.
Had a nice vacation in August, passing through Las Vegas, Salt Lake City and Brian Head, S. Utah canyon country. AND I won tickets to Joe's Pub while visiting my daughter there!
